Tajuna “TJ” Johnson, MSW
Tajuna, also passionately known as TJ, is a registered clinical social work intern with a master’s in social work and a bachelor's in psychology from the University of Central Florida.
Tajuna began her career in the public-school setting as an elementary school social worker, working with students who struggle with social and emotional learning development. She has a background in working with individuals who struggle with substance use and alcohol. Her specialties include stress management, anger management, substance use, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
Tajuna utilizes a multidimensional approach to therapy, assessing each client’s biological, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. She is passionate about assisting clients in their healing process, building self-worth, improving communication in their relationships, and reaching their desired goals. Tajuna also provides Christian counseling from a biblical approach, if desired upon client’s request.
Tajuna says, “The he(ART) of my therapy is designed to build your inner confidence and help you discover what makes you unique. In sessions, we will work together to develop attainable goals and objectives geared towards helping you reach your desired outcome. I am relatable and transparent when necessary. I believe in actively listening and engaging with my clients without bias or judgment. Everyone has a level of success, and it is important for me to help my clients discover theirs.”
